Connolly Books and Connolly House have been given a well deserved make-over.
The Communist Party of Ireland has had their HQ at the site since the mid-70's. After a short sint in our temorary office and bookshop in the trendy Bloom Lane we return to our spiritual home in Essey Street Temple Bar.

Good to hear you'll finally be back in Essex street. The coffee bar and the archive sound like good ideas. I'll make it to the opening if I can!

I saw the article about the reopening in 'Village' magazine and thought I'd check it out. But it was closed both Sunday and Monday. When do you open? Can a timetable of opening hours be put on the door?
And why is a book on the Koran taking pride of place in your shopfront? Why not a copy of 'Capital' or something related to Communism?
anyway, hope to visit soon.
